Are You a Pollyanna in Business?

ccei love to think of myself as quite a high quality guy. And over the years, it has not been uncommon for a few human beings to refer to me as a "Pollyanna." Why?

because i'm high quality? because I try and see the coolest in each situation?

as an instance, when my hairdressing salon closed down, which became my first enterprise, I went straight out into another enterprise. and that i searched for the fantastic aspect of things...

I had found out a heck of lots about marketing. I had turned idea into know-how. I had found out I failed to understand nearly as lots as what I notion I knew.

And even as it had "failed" on the identical time I had located that I should get people into a store. Pollyanna, right?

My associate in the exercise wasn't feeling so tremendous about things. Now do not get me wrong. i used to be riddled with anxiety. i was stressed. And i was unwell of getting to address bill creditors or avoid their calls. but under all this, I did the whole lot I should to suppose wonderful.

i used to be being a Pollyanna.

Face truth, Bywater, a little voice in the back of my head said.

you're a LOSER.

LOSER.

LOSER.

How dare you name your self a marketer, you fantastic massive fat Pollyanna. How about you? Are you a Pollyanna? And is being a Pollyanna a good aspect or a awful element? properly, currently I seemed into the tale of Pollyanna and the way it is going. And here's what i discovered.

Pollyanna is a younger orphan who lives together with her rich however stern Aunt Polly. And her life facilities around what she calls the "satisfied game" which includes locating something to be happy about in every scenario. Her father taught it to her. for instance, one Christmas she was hoping for a doll inside the missionary barrel when she acquired...a couple of crutches. Her dad taught her to look at the effective aspect of factors and be glad she didn't want the crutches.

anyway, her Aunty places her in a stuffy attic without snap shots or carpet. and she or he enjoys the view from the pinnacle window.

whilst her Aunty punishes her and sends her to consume within the kitchen with the servant, she thank you her because she likes bread and milk and the servant, Nancy. irrespective of what happens to Pollyanna, she finds the advantageous and at the end of the tale, even after losing her legs crossing the road, she remains fantastic and learns to stroll once more. And all the townspeople are grateful to her for the whole lot she has finished for them.

we all have two choices at someone time, don't we? when things pass incorrect, as they will every now and then, we can turn out to be...

irritated

bitter

Bitchy

Nasty

Depressed

irritating

... or we may be like Pollyanna and play the glad sport.

Which one do you watched will make for a happier existence and a more sussful business?
